Within Clive Mitchell Cycles there are four full time workshop spaces that are fully equipped to undertake any from of repair. From fitting a tube to a full strip down and re-build.

Servicing

Many services are offered form services, fork fitting, wheel building, restorations and specialist repairs including brake bleeding, re-threading and facing.
We also offer fork and rear shock servicing, which are carried out both on our own shop premises or sent away.
All work is carried out by our team of experienced mechanics that are always up for a challenge

Wheel Building

We have many years of wheel building experience and fully qualified wheel builders and can custom build wheels to your own specification.
Our wheels are built using DT Swiss spokes (may exclude 20’ + 24’, subject to availability) ranging from plain gauge to double butted, both silver + black.
Each wheel is constructed in store and is usually finished within 48 hours depending on its complexity.
In store we normally have a wide range of rims and hubs from Mavic, Atomlab, DMR, Hope, Shimano, DT Swiss and many more.

Restorations

Our fully equipped workshop can offer a full restoration service on all bikes, whether new or old. From folding shopper bikes to the original Raleigh Chopper.
All frames are stripped and sent away to Bob Jackson or Argos where they start by shot blasting the frames then next is the primer, painting and stove enamelling. Here all original transfers will be replaced + services such as ling burning + chroming can be offered.
We also have a large range of new old stock Sturmey Archer parts so we can rebuild that hub of yours to its original condition.
Our fully equipped workshop facilities can offer a wide range of parts and with our experienced staff we can strip + re-build your classic to a very high standard.
